Assistant Chief Deputy Lofton Harrison
Assistant Chief Lofton Harrison served at the Harris County Sheriff’s Office for 24 years prior to his tenure at the Precinct One Constable’s Office. He served in multiple divisions with his last four years serving as the Division Commander for the Patrol Division and the Internal Affairs Division. He obtained his formal education as a student at UHD. Chief Harrison directs, manages, supervises and coordinates the activities and operations of the Patrol Operations Division within the Precinct One Constable’s Office. He oversees the day-to-day operations of Patrol that includes Toll-Road Division Operations, K-9 Operations, Animal Cruelty Unit and the Internal Affairs Division. Additionally, he oversees the Honor Guard. Chief Harrison coordinates activities with other divisions, departments, and outside agencies and provides highly responsive and complex administrative support. He chairs the Administrative Disciplinary Committee (ADC) within Precinct One and helps write and develop policy and procedure for the agency. Chief Harrison represents Precinct One on the board of the Children’s Assessment Center (CAC) and is also a liaison with the Houston SPCA.
