Kevin Williams

Asst. Chief Kevin Williams has worked his entire law enforcement career at the Precinct One Constable’s Office. He started in 1992 and is now Asst. Chief over the Precinct One Constable Office’s Juvenile Division, Mental Health Special Operations Division, Warrants Division and Special Investigations Division.  He plans, assigns and supervises the activities of law enforcement personnel assigned to those divisions. Asst. Chief Williams is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the personnel in these divisions. He ensures our deputies are appropriately trained for their division assignment. Asst. Chief Williams carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. The Asst. Chief’s responsibilities also include interviewing, recommending for hire, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
