The Harris County Precinct 1 Warrant Division, is a 24/7 operation which consists of warrant deputies and clerks assigned to manage and serve active criminal and child support warrants. Warrant Deputies pursue and arrest individuals with outstanding warrants and Juvenile Truancy Warrants.
The warrant division also handles a high volume of capias child support warrants within Precinct 1 and the highest volume of out-of-county child support capias warrants for the Attorney General’s Office, Domestic Relations and Private Attorney’s issued by the District Clerk’s Office.
The Warrant Division also provides courtroom law enforcement for Justice of the Peace Place 1, Position 1, Judge Eric William Carter and Place 1, Position 2, Judge David Patronella.
