COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course satisfies requirements for the New Supervisor course under Occupations Code §1701.352. This course is designed to educate law enforcement officers and build foundational knowledge to help prepare them for their role as a new supervisor. This course covers key topics such as leadership fundamentals, communication strategies and conflict
resolution techniques, performance management tools, and understanding the challenges of
transitioning into a new supervisor role. This course provides new supervisors with the tools
they need to foster a positive work environment, drive team performance, and manage the
complexities of their new position.
