UPDATE: Precinct One Constable Seeking Community Assistance Identifying Animal Cruelty Suspects

UPDATE 08/22/2022: On Sunday, August 21, 2022, at approximately 12:30 p.m., a Precinct One deputy responded to a follow-up call located at Link Rd and E.29th St. The caller said the original suspect vehicle from this Animal Cruelty case had returned to the scene and the driver appeared to be passed out inside the vehicle. Upon arrival and with further investigation, the deputy discovered the driver of the vehicle had taken his own life. Video surveillance from the area confirmed this incident and deputies believe this was the original suspect believed to be involved in this Animal Cruelty case. No other individuals or animals were harmed in this incident.

The Harris County Precinct One Constable’s Office needs the public’s assistance in locating the suspects involved in a case of Animal Cruelty. On August 16, 2022, at approximately 2:00 p.m., Precinct 1 deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Link Rd & E. 29th St, regarding a dog that was shot. The caller reported that an adult white male drove behind the St. Anne De Beaupre Catholic Church located at 2810 Link Rd, Houston, and exited his vehicle with a gray mixed-breed Labrador dog. The caller said the male shot and killed the dog, and then fled the scene in his vehicle. Precinct 1 deputies responded to the scene, gathered preliminary information and surveillance video from the area. The surveillance footage obtained shows two vehicles involved in this incident. The suspect’s vehicle is a late model white Chevrolet S10 truck with an extended cab and black push bar in the front. The second vehicle involved is a newer model black Cadillac SUV.
